We are pleased to share with you photos of BMW Park Lane’s recent extension to the Group’s facility in Cumberland Avenue, London – formerly HR Owen.
The project adds a further 14 bays to a site which was originally fitted out by CCS and Dura back in 2015, bringing the current total to an impressive 32 workbays. These additions also include Paint and Body, Smart Repair and Wheel Refurbishment facilities.
Dura's distributor CCS delivered a complete ‘turnkey’ solution for Parklane Group here, including all groundworks. Following a close consultation with the Park Lane service management and team, a unique design was developed, incorporating fully integrated fluid and energy management, lift controls, electrics and comms points, with stainless steel worktops and a robust textured epoxy paint finish that more than met CI requirements throughout.
The project was particularly challenging for building contractor ADI Automotive, who had to navigate their way through an 800mm slab In construction, as well as underground tanks of fluid which were appropriately disposed of.
The result was an impressive facility which was successfully handed over to a delighted Park Lane Team in early 2020 ...on time and on budget!
