A bigger home for Awesome, the horsepower experts!

We’re delighted to bring you a preview of Dura’s installation for Awesome - Manchester’s performance specialists for VW, Audi, Seat and Skoda.

Led by the charismatic Mark Ash, Awesome’s dynamic team has been implementing a major program of development for their headquarters, with Dura chosen to provide the furniture for the new workshop.

Established in 1989, Awesome is one of the UK’s leading names for performance parts and tuning services. This expanded location provides additional capacity and new facilities, including an upgraded Dyno Cell. The ground floor comprises of 8 bays, flanked with Dura cabinetry in a dynamic gloss black and red trim combination.

As the prime destination for all ‘Weekend Racers’ and ‘Horsepower Chasers’, the new space incorporates electronic smart-glazing for the customer waiting area, providing a commanding view over the impressive workshop.

As Mark explains, these developments represent “a huge leap into a new era for Awesome.” It underlines their commitment to be the best in the business for customer service, while providing a high-quality environment that attracts and retains the most talented technicians. “Everybody feels equal and valued,” he points out. “New team members aren’t required to decant their own tools on their first day... everything is already provided for them. Seeing everyone with unified toolboxes demonstrates to customers and employees how much effort has been put into Awesome’s upgrade.”
