May 2019 saw the launch of both Aston Martin and McLaren facilities in Hatfield for Grange, a group member of Cambria Automobiles plc – with Dura workshop furniture providing a key component for both developments.
These new state-of-the-art dealerships combine to create a unique location for luxury car marques, making Grange the retailer of choice for both prospective and existing luxury / supercar owners north of the capital.
Aston Martin Hatfield:
The stunning new Grange Aston Martin Hatfield dealership follows the company’s relocation from Welwyn Garden City, and is the first in the UK to showcase Aston Martin's brand-new corporate identity.
Dura furniture was a key component of the 1,164 sq m facility, having long-since been established as the preferred system for Aston Martin. The showroom can accommodate 18 sports cars and an extensive range of pre-owned models, while the adjoining workshop provides fully integrated servicing facilities spanning six bays. Dura worked closely with Grange to maximise the unique benefits of the 600 series system for this premium location – fitting seemlessly in line with the new CI vision.
Cambria chief executive, Mark Lavery, said: “Grange has a long and established history in the luxury automotive space. The development of our new facility in Hatfield has allowed us to create a bespoke environment that caters to the needs of our guests.”
Following its appointment as an official retailer for the world-renowned McLaren marque last year, Grange officially opened its Hatfield showroom with a launch event featuring a line-up of past and present vehicles.
With McLaren celebrated building its 20,000th car, this ultra-modern facility represents a significant retail development of the brand within the UK. The 378 sq. m showroom offers a range of new and used McLarens, and this is linked with a dedicated six-bay workshop for comprehensive supercar servicing on site. Dura's 600 series system is installed throughout, with fully integrated fluid management facilities, and the Dura team worked closely with Grange to ensure the end result not only met the high standards demanded of this elite brand, but with a sleek modern finish, befitting of this prestigious brand.
David Gilbert, managing director of McLaren Automotive’s European division, commented: ‘Having welcomed Grange Motors to the McLaren family last year, I am delighted to be at the opening of their stunning new facility. We’re confident that McLaren Hatfield will be the retailer of choice for both prospective and existing supercar owners north of the capital.’
