Maxted-Page complete refurbishment with workshop experts Dura

With an established reputation for professionalism and integrity, image was a key priority for the independent historic Porsche specialist. Often working for private collectors and international historic racing, the workshop needed to represent the company's values, making cleanliness and organisation a top priority.

As a leading Porsche specialist, Maxted-Page restore and rebuild some of the rarest historic sports and racing Porsches to original factory standards. It therefore made sense to use the same quality equipment and cabinets from Dura as were recently fitted to Porsche Cars GB headquarters at Reading.

Working on rare historic cars of a significant value, it was important for the engine and transmission building department to have a tool focus. Secure foam lined tool cabinets with a 625kg weight capacity along with louvre back panels for component bins were installed to ensure every tool had a home and could be easily accounted for.

The cabinet strength and durable, heavy duty worktops are great for storing engine parts in and then setting out in an organised way for the most involved and technical engine rebuilds.

The main workshop also features a long stretch of both high and low level cabinets, a computer display unit for the Porsche parts system (PET), as well as double door tall cabinets, perfect for storing specialist tracking and geometry equipment, scales and general workshop tools. Maxted-Page Director Lee said,
