FordStore raises the bar in Harlow workshop

Harlow is not only famous for being a Mark One New Town, but also for its local landmark, Gates Corner. This roundabout is where the Gates of Harlow dealership, part of the family owned Gates Group, is situated and has traded from since 1959. Nearly into its sixtieth year, Gates of Harlow has had a multi-million-pound refurbishment transforming it into an approved flagship FordStore and Specialist Transit Centre.

The FordStore concept allows customers a whole new way to shop and experience Ford, and Gates of Harlow's brand-new state-of-the-art dealership has been designed in line with the standards of Ford's all-new retail environment. To ensure their workshop facilities meet FordStores' exacting standards, Gates of Harlow turned to Dura to help them.

The Gates Group selected award-winning Dura modular furniture to create a fully integrated solution for their 14-bay workshop. Chosen for its excellent finish and hard-wearing benefits, the design and finish of their new workshop provides the same high standard of presentation found throughout the dealership.

Dura's modular workshop design has providing a fully functional working environment for the service technicians. The ease in which they now work has improved their workflow and efficiency, which has resulted on vehicles being worked on more quickly, delivering excellent service to customers.
