Caps-Workshops have developed a strong relationship with Harley-Davidson and have just finished working on the company’s EMEA flagship dealer in Reading. With an ethos based on fulfilling dreams and providing extraordinary motorcycles and customer experiences, Harley- Davidson needed a dealership and aftersales workshop that symbolised their passion for freedom and exceeded their customer expectations. As the new dealership is built upon the Harley-Davidson brand identity, Caps-Workshops followed a set of guidelines and workshop development solutions to create a complete turnkey solution for all Harley-Davidson dealers to aspire to.
The workshop needed to be functional whilst aesthetically pleasing. With a cost of a Harley-Davidson ranging from £7k to over £24k a customer doesn’t want to see their bike in a dirty and messy workshop. With this in mind the workshop features 5 bays plus a plant area for physical dirty work to be conducted. The bays utilise a complete Dura run of black/grey cabinets including, wall units featuring glove and towel dispensers, double door base cabinets, low level oil distribution, 7 drawer tool cabinets as well as waste disposal and 4 tier mobile trolleys. The whole design is finished off with pure orange back panels to match the Harley-Davidson brand as well as a painted floor and iconic Harley-Davidson artwork.
As a customer centric dealership, Caps-Workshops worked with Harley-Davidson to incorporate a customer waiting lounge that features a workshop viewing area, free drinks and an original Harley Davidson juke box to select your favourite tune whilst you watch expertly trained technicians work on your pride and joy.
