Dura create exciting workshop for Shaw Harley-Davidson

30 March 2006

Shaw have quickly established a great reputation for quality since their launch as the first authorised Harley-Davidson dealership in Sussex in 2003 - and have since won several coveted ‘Bar and Shield’ awards.

So when they looked to develop their workshop, they chose Dura to provide a streamlined, fully integrated solution - built to the high technical standards expected of a Harley-Davidson dealer. Service bays were installed in continuous runs of over 7.5 metres for maximum efficiency and effect. The layout included cabinets with oil, air and water transfer capabilities and overhead storage units with under-cabinet lighting for comfortable work areas for the technicians.

The Harley-Davidson brand is instantly recognised worldwide, so it was natural that Shaw would want to convey this within the workshop. To meet this brief, Dura provided a bespoke solution with all of the cabinets in the Harley-Davidson corporate colours of black and orange. The result is a truly stunning workshop which sets the standard for motorcycle workshops worldwide and that Shaw are proud to show their customers.

John Shaw, Chairman/Owner of Shaw said, "We used Dura when we set up our first small workshop as a Harley-Davidson dealer three years ago. We were very impressed with the styling of the Dura workshop units and the overall quality of their equipment in general, so when it became time to develop our new large workshop, Dura were naturally our first choice. This has proved to be the best decision we could have made. I believe Dura have excelled themselves, we have an efficient and fabulous looking workshop, which not only the Technicians, but everyone in the dealership is proud of. Finally, but also an important factor, we found Dura a pleasure to do business with."
