Dura are well known as creators of ‘ the integrated workshop’ – a system of modular workshop cabinets facilitating everything required for modern vehicle servicing in a modular system that not only looks good but improved workshop efficiency.
So what’s the next thing to revolutionise the workshop? Answer; the Dura ServicePod™.
Launched at this years’ Automechanika Frankfurt ServicePod™ is a new concept that integrates every element required for vehicle servicing in a single ‘plug and play’ unit that requires minimal installation. And of course, as you would expect from Dura, it looks pretty good too
ServicePod™ has inbuilt air and water reels, data and power sockets as well as tool storage, waste disposal and general storage. The unit houses a computer and monitor all a unit measuring a compact width of only 200cm. The unit features an electrically operated rear panel for tool storage which retracts and locks away for security at the end of the day. A second unit holds oil reels where required as these are normally shared between technicians.
Dura Sales Director Stephen Jacques states “ServicePod™ is ideal for all types of general service workshop and the mainstream brands that recognize that they need to move the workshop forward from the old-fashioned bench/toolbox/bin approach. It is also ideally suited for direct reception bays, fast fit centres, rapid service operations and more easy to retro-fit into existing workshops”.
“We’ve been trying to find a way to integrate these services - something that wasn’t just for the premium brands without compromising design or quality and ServicePod™ is a great solution.
